ALDI Distribution Facility

DPI prepared boundary, topographic, utility surveys, easement and taking plans, and engineered site plans for a 490,000 square foot ALDI distribution facility on a 106 acre site, including surveying and engineering for the reconstruction of nearly one mile of Rye Street and Sullivan Avenue (CT Route 194) in South Windsor, Connecticut. This included extensive coordination with the Connecticut Department of Transportation. In May 2017, approval for an additional 170,000 +/- square foot proposed building expansion was obtained by DPI. This location serves all of New England and portions of New York, including New York City and Long Island. Upon completion, the building footprint will encompass more than 15 acres.
