Belltown Square

DPI provided complete civil engineering, planning, land surveying and landscape architecture services for the upscale Belltown Square retail development, located directly across CT Route 66 from pristine Lake Pocotopaug in East Hampton, Connecticut. The 3.12 acre site has been developed with a CVS pharmacy and a full-service Savings Institute Bank & Trust. Because of the site's proximity to the lake, special care was given throughout the design process to ensure the highest environmental standards were adhered to so the development of the site would not impact the water quality of the lake. DPI also secured DOT approvals for the re-striping of Route 66 as a part of this plan and the location of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Route 66 and Route 196, adjacent to the site.
