Design Professionals is presently seeking a Director of Engineering who enjoys directing a variety of site development projects.

The experienced Director of Engineering will lead the civil design team from concept layouts to complete site design in AutoCAD Civil 3D: streets; parking lots; storm drainage and analyses; sanitary (public sewers or septic systems); water; grading; building placement; traffic engineering; construction specifications; recreational or open space areas. The Director of Engineering will interface with community officials, architects, clients and others, and will often present the site or subdivision plans to boards and commissions, e.g., zoning, planning, wetlands, conservation or sewer.

Candidates should possess a P.E. license (CT, MA or RI preferred), and have many years of experience in site design and project management, as well as AutoCAD proficiency and at least a BSCE degree. Traffic engineering and LEED certifications are desired but not required. Salary commensurate with experience and expertise. Please submit resume with cover letter and salary requirements.
