Farmington Sports Arena (FSA)

DPI provided survey, civil engineering and landscape architecture services for a 130,000 S.F. indoor soccer facility that includes four playing surfaces, offices, meeting rooms, pro-shop, food services and restrooms located in Farmington, Connecticut.  Water quality of the storm drainage for the roof discharge and 175-car parking area goes through a hydrodynamic separator unit and to an on-site pond for infiltration and water quality renovation before discharging to the groundwater.

 

Subsequently, DPI was retained for Phase II of the project known as FSA Park, providing landscape architecture, civil and traffic engineering services for the design and permitting of three synthetic and one natural grass NCAA regulation lighted outdoor soccer fields.  The plans include associated parking, restroom/concession facility, stormwater design, water quality, and a sanitary sewer pump station. The combined site totals over 20 acres.
