Land Survey Crew Chief or Instrument Operator
Design Professionals, Inc. (DPI) is presently looking for a Survey Crew Chief or Instrument Operator for our growing land surveying practice. DPI is a leading multi-disciplinary land development consulting firm serving the three southern New England states from our home office in South Windsor, Connecticut. Our survey crews operate state-of-the-art field equipment, including VRN GPS, robotic total stations, and a UTV. We perform all aspects of land surveying, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction stakeout, as-built surveys, and digital surface modeling. DPI has numerous large land surveying projects under contract with multiple private- and public- sector clients in CT, MA, and RI.
Crew Chief position requires five plus years field experience. Eagerness and ability to work outdoors in difficult terrain and weather conditions is required. Hourly rate commensurate with qualifications and experience, and crew chiefs typically fall within a range of $40,000 to $65,000 annual base pay plus overtime.
Survey Instrument Operator position requires a minimum of one year of experience with survey field equipment. Eagerness and ability to work outdoors in potentially difficult terrain and weather conditions is required. Hourly rate commensurate with qualifications and experience, and instrument operators typically fall within a range between $35,000 and $45,000 annual base pay plus overtime.
