Landscape Architect / Project Manager (P.L.A.)

Job Description:
Hiring Immediately!
Design Professionals, Inc. (DPI) is presently looking for a Project Manager for our growing landscape architecture team.

 

Summary of Duties: 

  • Hands-on design assisting in the preparation of master plans and site and landscape architectural design plans using AutoCAD

  •  Design wetlands enhancements and wetlands creation

  • Site visits for analysis, data collection, monitoring, and soils testing for septic and stormwater systems

  • Interface with clients, community officials, consultants and present site plans to local regulatory boards and commissions

  • Create a great learning environment for supervised employees in order to advance their careers

  • Career path – over time, potential to advance to Senior Project Manager, Director, or Principal

Required Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree in Landscape Architecture from a program accredited by the Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board (LAAB)

  •  Licensed Professional Landscape Architect

  • Minimum of two years of experience in site design, including grading and site lighting

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to advocate for projects before regulators and the public

  • Ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail

  • Experienced in a wide variety of land uses, e.g., recreation, parks, commercial, residential communities, industrial, retail, schools and government facilities

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD

  • CT, MA and/or RI licensure

  • ​Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Education:

  • BS degree in Landscape Architecture (Required)

  • MS degree in Landscape Architecture a plus

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)

  • Professional Landscape Architecture License (Required)

 

Work Location: In person

Schedule:

  • Full-Time

  • 8 hour shift

  • Monday to Friday


​Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
